No we do not ship livestock at this time. This is due to varying factors including weather and the inability to insure proper care along the way.
Sorry, we cannot ship glass aquariums due to the high risk of breakage.

4. Why does my filter make noise ?

Most power filters use an Impeller to circulate the water.
From constant movement and contact with debris, these parts can wear down or become bent. The "rattle" you hear is an indication that this part may need replacement.
With Whisper® Power Filters, these parts are replaceable and available!

5. Why do my fish die ?

Many factors affect the life span of fish in an aquarium.
The three most common causes of "trouble in the tank" are;
Overcrowding / Overfeeding / Under Filtration.
Overcrowding can be avoided by following this general
'Rule of thumb':
[Freshwater] One inch of fish for every one gallon of water.
[Saltwater] One inch of fish for every five gallons of water.

6. Why is my water cloudy ?

Overfeeding is the most common cause of "cloudy water"
in an aquarium. An aquarium is a "closed system" and can
only handle a certain amount of food and or waste before
the biological balance is upset. 'Rule of thumb': Feed only
what food can be eaten within 3-5 minutes. Once or twice
per day. Excess food whether eaten or uneaten, will
pollute an aquarium quickly.

7. What is Under Filtration ?

Under Filtration is a lack of mechanical water purification.
Most often combined with the above, Overcrowding and
Overfeeding. 'Rule of thumb': Use the minimum requirements
of a particular filter as a guide in selecting the correct size.
ie: If a filter is rated for a 10 - 20 gal. aquarium, don"t expect
it to keep the 20 "clear" if you overcrowd or tend to
overfeed. The next size up filter would be a better choice!
